Fun Ways to Pop the Question to your Bridesmaids
Now that you’ve officially said “yes,” it’s time to propose to your bride tribe! Here are some creative ways to ask your best friends to be by your side.
Who doesn’t love getting surprises in the mail? This is especially perfect for your pals that live far away. Send a box filled with goodies such as a frame of your favorite picture together or another memento, and a personal note that says, “Will you be my bridesmaid?” You can also include beauty products, scented candles and anything else you know they’ll love! Pro-tip: make sure when you’re assembling the package that it’s stuffed with tissue, paper shred and any other material that’ll ensure it’ll arrive in one piece.
If it’s a possibility, bring everyone togetherand ask them in person! Many restaurants have a private room or at least a designated area for these types of intimate functions. Take it a step further and arrive a little early to decorate with balloons, personalized name cards and cute favors. Depending on the place, some will even create a custom menu for your celebration – and sometimes it’s easy enough to DIY!
Make it personal
There’s a chance that your maids will have to purchase a few items to wear/use for your engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette, and of course, the big day. Gift them with something monogrammed or their first name – ideas include a tumbler, robe, hanger, clutch, piece of jewelry, hair clip, or another fabulous accessory. The best part? Even after your nuptials, they can use it over and over again!
